Hello, my name is Joelle Mumley…

I believe in the value of businesses producing content to spread their message, build trust, and promote their work. I support organizations in three primary ways:

 

  1. Writing on behalf of technical experts who don't have the time, confidence, or skills to communicate their knowledge effectively.

  2. Supporting teams to create a communications plan and strategy.

  3. Providing trainings and coaching in writing for groups or individuals.  

 

I have an undergraduate degree in literature and a master’s in social entrepreneurship, as well as real-world experience in both writing and business. I understand your role as a business leader and also have the skills to support your writing goals, including the development of your content marketing plans, writing and/or editing on your behalf, or providing writing training to your team.

I am an American by nationality but have spent most of my life in Kenya. Most days you can find me sitting at my laptop, either in my home office or somewhere outside. On days that I’m not working, I hope to be adventuring in nature, spending time with friends and family, watching a Liverpool match, or reading. I’m an introvert who loves to go to restaurants with just a book for the company or on solo game drives in Nairobi National Park, but I also love meeting new people and hearing their stories.
